Chav
hi chaps, where's a good place to buy 4gb SD cards that work with RNS-E. (e.g. Not HDSC) ?? Have lots of music at 320kbs so can prob fit more songs on a 4gb card before reaching the 512 file/folder limit.... Cheers!!
Drinks
I see your dilema now, all the usual places I've got mine from in the past, are only stocking sdhc in 4gb. Considering the price it looks like 2gb maybe better. Maplin are still listing 4gb at £29.99 and there is a transcend on at £20 on amazon through a 3rd party seller but that's about all I could see. It'll be interesting to see if anyone comes up with any other suggestions.
GBC
Staples have an offer on at the moment. I had a flyer through the door yesterday offering Sandisk 2GB SD cards at £12.99.
JimLoskot
The best way to rip MP3's is using Lame codec at a variable bitrate . ripping everything at 320 will not give you better quality or indeed the best quality. I use this method described on this website http://www.bestmp3guide.com/ sorry can't be of any help with sd cards

Drinks
Yes it should work, but I think a few people have had glitches with some cards so it's not 100%. I'm not sure if you benefit from having 150x for just mp3 but then you probably know more about that than me anyway. I still think it's worth having a look in maplins there must be one near you 4gb at 29.99 and you can take it back if it doesn't work. highflyin
You might want to consider the SanDisk Extreme III 4bg card. Some of the others have really slow access speeds, (read speeds) so there can be small pauses and breaks in music / data while the card is being read = which is really anoying. A decent camera shop should stock these - so do Jessops but they're expensive. Expect to pay about 30-40UK pounds from a camera shop less online - but they're worth extra tenner. I bought a crappy one last Summer and took it back in exchange for the extreame III. Well worth the extra.
