Anyone got any experience of this place?

Will be booking up a half day session as part of a Christmas present for someone (which I will have to attend, naturally ) and following a bit of research have pretty much decided on this place.

Driving will involve the classic RS2000 and an Impreza which sounds like fun but wondered if anyone has any first-hand experience of this place or similar?

These are great fun.

I went to ine near york - again driving RS2000's.

Was interesting fun playing in the rwd escorts again.

The school I went to mentioned it's more fun on a snowy or wet day as it's easier to get the rear end sliding out of corners

I used these during a works 'Team Building' experience . . .

It was a fun day, the escorts weren't anything special but you got to grips how to slide the car properly, handbrake turns etc before you go out onto a course on their land.

I dont think there wasn't a face without a smile on it by the end of the day, oh and they do fantastic bacon rolls.

The wife bought me a day out here for my 40th. Had an excellent day, certainly the best driving experince i have done in terms of driving time and facilities. The guys give you a briefing on how the day is going to run, plus give you tips on technique and safety etc. First off i was in a full spec mk2 escort, awsome fun on the skid pan and then drove on thier forest gravel rally stage with the instructor giving advice and tips which was great and realy helped me get the most out of the day. After lunch we used the impreza wrx which was extremely quick, being 4wd it was faster point to point than the escort but they were both great cars. Had a half spin on my timed laps so ended up coming third!. Bought a day there for my son in a few months, he rekons he can beat my time!...
