grin.gif I'm looking for a portable/semi portable speaker system for my iPod Touch 169144-ok.gif

grin.gif So far I've narrowed it down to the following....

Bose Portable Sound Dock - built in rechargable battery

Harmon Kardon - mains power only

Logic3 Jive Box - mains only

grin.gif I've not heard of the Jivebox before but putting out 90 watts RMS its going to be pretty punchy 169144-ok.gif

grin.gif All opinions welcome and please suggest anything I've overlooked 169144-ok.gif

I would buy a used Cyrus amp, some nice compact bookshelf speakers and an ipod dock.

Will cost around around the same money but sound so much better.

The Fatman tube amp dock seems to get some good reviews.

grin.gif I hear when you're saying but it really needs to be a 'all in one' unit like the Bose - its main use will be for chalet entertainment when skiing (carried in luggage) and as a small unit for the kitchen 169144-ok.gif

grin.gif Bose getting the 169144-ok.gif so far then!
