Ben
New laptop and first time we've hooked up the iPod. iTunes will not sync and moans about a locked disk on the iPod. Windows sees the disk, but I can't write to it from here either (presumably you usually can). Disk has been formatted, iPod nuked and reloaded etc. Any ideas? Hopsta
Ben you might have been 'policied' can you write to other USB devices? Give me a call if you want, i'm sure there is a registry hack to sort it

Ben
That's what ruined it last time! It is indeed the machine so I now need to get all the music files on to the other PC over the wireless network - but with routers and access points in the mix this is not proving an easy task! Should have stayed in IT
