pitch3110
Well the big fella in the red coat dropped a 80GB Classic down the chiminey which after several hours is now full of music. Plugged into my ears & also docked is sounding great. But what about the car?? The audi kit seems to get a bit of bad press. So what else do you chaps suggest? When plugged in will the album titles show themselves in the DIS & will I be able to scroll it through my MFSW? Any help round this mine field would be greatly. And to add I have a concert but am thinking about RNS-E mybe in the spring. Cheers Chaps Paul
TDiAvant
No to the DIS, but you should be able to use the MFSW. Also note that, track names do not appear on the RNS-E screen, it just uses a basic CD-Changer interface, CD1, CD2, track1, track2, etc, etc... PetrolDave
Unless you have a car with MMI (A6, A8, Q7) there is no solution that will show iPod track names on the in-car display in an Audi, either OE or after-market. The restriction is the CD changer interface (which is where the iPod interfaces connect to) which doesn't support CD text, so there's no way to get the track names from the iPod into the radio or sat nav.
