burble
Even though I don't have the .:R back yet I've got it booked in with APS on the 31st to have a Milltek cat back and Haldex Gen II controller fitted. I've not driven a Mk V with the new haldex controller fitted but I've driven a mates Mk IV and was thoroughly impressed. From talking with Ed he says that the improvement on the Mk V is greater than it was on the Mk IV so I shouldn't be disappointed. I was also discussing lowering the car but if I do that I probably won't be able to get the car down my drive and I don't want £30k of .:R to to live on the road so I'm going to have to give that a miss. Latest update is that I should have the .:R back on Thursday. It can't come soon enough!

burble
Thanks, so do I I've only heard good things about APS and they're only about 20 miles away from the office so it was a bit of a no brainer
mlhj83
Are you having the 3 way switch fitted? If not, I strongly recommend it as Race mode is absolutely fantastic.

burble
I'm a fat git already but I guess I'll be shedding a few £ in the direction of the .:R so perhaps a doughnut won't hurt
Dan32
It won't be long before they HAVE to supply doughnuts with all this talk of them!
burble
I went to APS this morning and the chaps there installed a Milltek cat back and Haldex Gen II controller. As I expected they're a great company to deal with. Ed doesn't make a bad cup of coffee either It was absolutely chucking it down when I left so I've not had a real chance to listen to the exhaust note but first impressions are very good. The bad weather meant I could try out the new Haldex controller and I'm very impressed - even in the pouring rain there wasn't a hint of understeer which considering how much weight is under the bonnet is impressive. Unfortunately I left my book behind so I guess I'll have to go back to APS in the near future to lavish more cash on the .:R. Oh woe is me
