quattroman777
Hi all, I've just bought a 2006 A6 2.7 TDI S Line from a Nissan main dealer. The car seems to have more extras than it was advertised with, I still don't know the full spec. Is there a code anywhere on the car which would give me more info ? steve2
there should be a data sticker in your service book and one in the spare wheel well, use this link http://igorweb.org/equidec/ and follow the instructions, i did this a couple of days ago

oDUTCHYo
Even better!! - A guy at Audi gave me this number: 0870 0105671 If you ring Audi on that number - give them the Reg number and they will tell you everything that was put on it when it left the showroom. I pick my A6 up next week and there were 2 things that Audi told me that the Advert didnt! Bluetooth and Folding mirrors! - I viewed the car and Audi were right (Didnt tell the garage though!!) aj84
Can I have your folding mirrors please? One thing that I cannot believe a car with such a high spec (I have an 08 le mans A6) does not have autodim mirrors and elec folding mirrors Something all my Volvo's had! Had a horrible price to retrofit it so that won't be happening either
oDUTCHYo
Aj, Would swap you folding mirror for actuated remote boot open!!! - My Merc CLK has BOTH!!!! - boot release AND folding mirrors. - Once you have 'em you dont want to be without 'em (bit like women and xbox 360's really!!) aj84
I know the feeling! I love my auto boot opening...just a shame you have to manually push it down and that because I have the auto-open, the boot lid needs a ton of bricks pushed onto it to shut it! oDUTCHYo
This is the badboy unit you've been wanting then AJ !!! KUFATEC GmbH - Comfort Heckklappenmodul Audi A6 4F Avant und Allroad 4FH 33801 This is reason I wanted auto boot - how cool would it be to remote close as well!!!! YOU LUCKY GIT !!!! I had visions of putting my mate in the boot, hog tied in just his undies, parking in morrisons car park (or ASDA...whichever) and when some old dear walks past, open the boot and then close it again !!!! hahaha :roflmao: My mates idea by the way!!! aj84
I might try this for the open part :- ) The bad news is...already done and dusted on that idea from Kufatec Basically the Saloons can't have it - the auto-open is just struts and not motorised opening The thing from Kufatec is only for Avants as their version of Auto Open is motorised In theory, that part is literally telling the car to do the opposite of open to the motors :- )
oDUTCHYo
aahh! - I thought you had the Avant. basically, ya buggered then by the looks of it. - just make sure you always have a sack of bricks in the boot then...
