Nelson_R32
[ QUOTE ] more improtantly give more grip. I would. [/ QUOTE ] Exactly, thats why a CSL doesn't have leather and why my R32 won't have leather either. After 9 months of leather in the A3 I'd be happy to see the back of it. It just doesn't do anything for me.
Adam
no satnav, no leather, nasty phone cradle, no optics pack and not black surprised they didn't spec the NCO 18" alloys
Adam
[ QUOTE ] more improtantly give more grip. I would. [/ QUOTE ] not really an issue if you have the bucket seats - you really are not slipping anyway in those I know your car is through the company but private buyers have to try to sell their car on to someone and cloth/leather mix will not help at all
AUD1
Would the cloth not be alcantara, if so then better than leather.

byron13
One of the first ones - coming up to 2 years old soon and with that spec and still just short of £40k. Happy with that.
kite
Sitting in that and "touching cloth" all day would not be a good feeling
Mook
I reckon it should have 16" wheels on it with fookin high profile tyres and take the climate control out of it as well... Someone will buy it though - it's bloody cheap for an RS4...
beemerboy9
Does cloth mean Alcantara? Also these specs are often inaccurate.
Merlot
Looks like cloth in the photo. Remember the fancy performance fabric that a few Maser Gransports' have? Dealers' won't touch them.
Woppum
the new 430 scud has some new fabric o the seats that gives awsome traction and looks the part too...
Ben
Loads of people spec'd that on the B5 RS4 actually, trends have clearly moved on a bit in the years. I'd just have teh cloth bits retrimmed in a nice silver alcantara, shove in an RNS-E unit then no one would be moaning
Mook
Having had leather for the past however many cars, I specifically looked for leather/alcantara for the S4 - the amount of grip you get in the seat is so much better
Adam
have you tried RS4 buckets? - alcantara vs leather is a non-issue
Mook
Yes, they're great, although I'd still probably opt for alcantara on the RS4
DanG
Its a disgrace a £50k car doesnt come with leather as standard. In the US, an Audi above $30k comes with leather as standard.
