Insurance Jon
I hope Mrs IJ doesn't read this but here goes. I've booked the top suite at the Great John St hotel for valentines and the night after as it's our first V Day together. So I need restautant reccomendations for: V Daynight Fri 15th lunch Fri 15th Evening Now I've been to the following: Piccolinos, Teppanyaki, Teppanyaki Sapporro but looking for something new. Whats the Urbis and Gaucho Grill like? your assistance is appreciated?
nordberg
Urbis is nice, Gaucho Grill is average. I like Heathcotes: http://www.heathcotes.co.uk/simply/manchester-restaurant.html
Mollox
Gaucho will be just like every other - OK. Not somewhere I'd go for valentines though - blood dripping down your chin isn't romantic!

nordberg
Have fun. I would perhaps suggest Urbis might be a little bit down-market when compared to your accomodation. Nice, but not particularly special....
