Chav
So is it just me that thinks these are the most gorgeous, sexy, yummy cars on the planet!! I was having a nosey in Wilmslow the other day, and £69,950 lets you take your pick. Totally not affordable at the mo, with 30K+ miles a year, and its a tintop (but still sexy as hell), but christ - what a lovely car. I don't care if its not that fast, doesn't handle that well, and it's rather flash, they are simply orgasmic to look at. Discuss.
Rachel
Are you referring to the new V8 Vantage Chav? If so, then yes I agree they are automobiles that draw the eye across their surfaces. I don't think I'd go as far as to call them "orgasmic" though.
Chav
Yep the Vantage. drool. drool. I can't actually think of a better looking car? Regardless of price/performance.

techieboy
Best car they produce currently. I love it's compact dimensions and the sound is sublime.
bullett
This is on my wish list for when the Porkas' time is up. 2nd hand obviously looking at around 55k in 18 months time. Mind you that puts and awful lot of other machines in the firing line including the (not so pretty) gt-r
simon737
I got Jezza's Super Car Showdown for xmas, the AMV8 Roadster came out as his favourite from a list including F430, F599GTB, Murcielago, GT3, Radical, SR3, Gallardo Spyder. i love it, and would have one in a heartbeat! I had the pleasure of a few drives in the V8 Vantage, and boy what an awesome drive. The engine noise is enough to give you a toe curler too! gizze
It is a sense of occasion, no one ever looks at you like a pratt as they would in other marques, it may not be the ultimate drive but it has to be one of the ultimate packages surely? I would have one tomorrow if I could afford it.
scooby_simon
I think it's one of those cars that TG would review against better handling, faster cars and cheaper cars. Go thru all the bollox and then when it comes to the choice they would all have it. And it's has to be the best answer to the "what car do you drive" question. IMO, "Aston" is the coolest car. Hopefully not too many football players will buy them.

Woppum
I ish they did a real trackday version of one of these. The N24 isnt that quick and is too racer (if there is a such a thing). Good front engined trackcars just art about. IMHO Aston are the people to do it.
962C
In a surprising move in a world where manufacturers follow hierarchy religiously, Dr Bez has allowed the workshop to stuff the latest 6.0 V12 iteration from the DBS into the little Vantage to create the concept Vantage RS. Looks like it will cost more than the DBS, but I can see them putting it into production. http://www.autocarmagazine.com/News/NewsArticle/Aston-Martin-Vantage/229556/

burble
A mate of mine has a DB9 and there is often a V8 Vantage parked up very close to it. I go weak at the knees every time I walk past them.
Andrew
Oddly enough I was looking at the 2nd hand value of these in the Sunday Times yesterday. Can't afford one mind (withot selling the house). However, the OLD V8 Vantage is much better looking I think. I'd have one in a heartbeat.
