IT_S8
The weights in KG for your specific car are on the build sticker - in the service book on the sticker in the front, or on the sticker in the spare wheel well. It will be around 1800KG.
LostKiwi
Didn't we cover this already here? http://www.tyresmoke.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/1266724/an/0/page/6#1266724 Allow around 100kg less for fwd as opposed to 4wd with around 60=70% of that coming off the rear axle (at a guesstimate). PsYcHe
Don't think you can get weight per wheel unless you go to a weighbridge, I can only find total weight and f/r distribution.
LostKiwi
For a 4.2Q... From the weight distribution and kerb weight figures I manged to find (60/40 front bias on 1750kg kerb weight) it should be around 525kg per front wheel and 350kg per rear wheel, depending on spec. Therefore to guesstimate the 3.7: Engine weight will be broadly the same, gearbox and front diff the same but then remove the transfer box, rear diff, axles and driveshafts (probably around 100kg). Since some of that weight will also be carried by the front wheels (sitting as it does in front of the rear wheels) we can reasonably safely guesstimate 30-40kg on the front axle and 60-70kg on the rear less than the 4.2. Is that close enough?
