zerologic
Any kite flyers on here? Due to a (non kite related) back problem I'm selling some of my kite stuff.... Starting with a 2001 Flexifoil Kite Buggy. Its had some use but nothing hard, Very little beach use (and always washed after) mainly grass / concrete runways and no jumping!! Its got a (home made) Belly pan, mainly for keep my backside dry rather than protection from stones. Its not had any use for over a year but been stored inside so still in great condition. Tyres have plenty of grip left and the seat and webbing have no rips or tears. Comes with Flexifoil splash guard and had new bearings and rear axel bolts just before i stopped using it. Its a Big item so someone local (Norwich area) would be ideal as we could arrange a collection (fits on most standard cycle racks). But we could work out something for delivery if anyone further away is interested. Its a great fun bit of kit and I'm looking for £250. kite
What kites do you have ?
zerologic
I can't remember what I have got left off the top of my head. I sold some last year but i think I've got a couple of Flexifoil Super 10's (you that much of a beginner Omi?) 3 & 4 Metre Ozone Samurai's, 3 & 7 Metre PDK's and a Blade 2 I think but can't remember what size off the top of my head. I will have to dig it all out, see whats left and what I want to keep then I will post the rest up. Already got someone on first refusal on the kite gear but I don't think he is after kites. The rest is mostly lines, handles, Harnesses and bars etc. The buggy is first to go as its in the way. I've got a Parastorm buggy too but I'm gonna hang onto that and a couple of kites maybe for when I have a bit of confidence in my back again! zerologic
[ QUOTE ] Omi might like the super 10's...stacked [/ QUOTE ] Many happy memories of long hot days on the beach flying stacked super 10's!! Used to fly them for hours before I got into buggying then they would just sit in boot. Great starter kite to learn the ropes and how the wind works and you can get some nice jumps and drags in the right conditions

kite
I sold most of my kit, just have one small power kite now but the plan is to get into trick flying. A mate had a go on my buggy, got dragged out and cracked two ribs, his wife was more concerned they would miss a holiday. Good photo...all three wheels on the ground
zerologic
That was the norm for me... all three wheels on the ground!! I was just getting into 2 wheels when I had to sack it in. This has got to be one of my favorite photos... I can't face getting rid of it all just yet so am hanging onto some of it but at the moment I need the cash and its just sat there doing nothing! Omi
Erm, you tell me how much of a beginner I am... I've flown a 3m Flexifoil twice. 2nd time was on a beach with a mild wind and I was getting pulled up the beach on my face when I was trying to get it in the powerband and skate along on my heels like my mate. Was great fun and a nice workout though, so something I'd like to do more!
zerologic
Sounds like you had the standard introduction into powerkiting.... a quick drap along quickly followed by a face plant! Its great fun and when you learn to control the power you just get hooked! Well I did. When i get round to digging the rest of the kit out of the Garage I Post up whats left and see if there is anything to suit a beginner.
