drpellypo
Looking for some software (prefereabbly that I can get free or a trial as I will only need it once!) to make a presentation DVD. No video, just music and pictures, but I'd like it to have a proper menu etc, and to be able to control the audio tracks (fade in, out, mix etc) and the pictures. I used to use Adobe Premier, but alas, it's not for mac! Any ideas?
DHA
iMovie would work, then you can burn it with iDvd.
drpellypo
It's not very flexible though. I mean, you can create a lovely menu, but then you seemingly can only add a video track. However... I just found adobe are now allowing you to download the latest version of premier for mac, so once I can get the damn thing to download, I'll give that a try! bpsmith
There are also options in iPhoto to create a slideshow and then export that into iDVD to do the menu's. Its never going to be as good as Premier though mind you! I tried getting the new Photoshop Elements demo from Adobe last night and not available on the Mac just yet even though it was announced a few days ago. Rachel
IIRC, Toast lets you do this stuff too with stills and movies.
