Help with deciding on 'ideal' RS4 spec

after 2 years of astounding motoring, I think it's time to get rid of the 911 and get something with a bit more practicaility but still with decent looks and performance, hence the RS4 (Avant) is the obvious choice.

I've found the previous post where the list of RS4 options were posted, and think I have found my ideal spec, but would apppreciate any feedback on my choices!

Standard

19" RS wheels

Metallic paint - Would probably prefer Grey, but would consider Black or Dark Blue

Full leather (Iassume this is standard?) - Black

Climate Control

Bose

Bi-xenon lights

Heated front seats

Flat bottom RS wheel

RS buckets with inflating sides electric bolster or Electric Recaros - think I would prefer the buckets!

Front and Rear Electric windows

Lighting pack

Storage pack

Cruise control

Front and rear park sensors

Front armrest?

Options

Satnav (with TV tuner would be preferred!

Adaptive lights (swivel) - not bothered

CD changer - essential !

Sunroof - prefer not

Auto lights/rain sensor/auto dim mirrors - would like to have

Sports suspension + - is this just lower and / or stiffer or is there more to it than that?

Rear sideguard - nice to have, but not bothered

Rear blinds - nice to have, but not bothered

Rear heated seats - nice to have, but not bothered

Multi function wheel - prefer standard RS4 wheel

Bluetooth - not bothered

Ceramic brakes - not bothered

Suede wheel - not bothered

Coolbox - not bothered

Anyone know of such a car?!

mistake on the sunroof ... pop by and i will explain why it is a good option ... be aware, that air vent noise can be a problem ... design fault and also I don't think the aircond is that cold ... retro fit the bluetooth ...

Interesting, please can you explain?

I've not done extensive analysis, but I've not heard anyone else complain abouut issies with the vents or air con. Are you sure the issue is not just with your car and can be rectified easily?

sidicks: don`t know if this will apply to the RS4 mate (but I would imagine it would); I have a mk2 TT, and that has Symphony with the built-in 6 cd changer.

Mine, however, also has an additional 6 cd autochanger in the glovebox, which can be specified as an optional extra, so I effectively have a 12 cd changer. All of this is MP3 compatible as well, so I`m never short of music.

Just thought I`d mention it with you stating that a 6 cd changer was essential to you, as I would imagine you can get the extra changer retro-fitted by Audi, should you want to...... 169144-ok.gif

It will always be worth less than one painted black. Plus if you need to sell in a hurry, you are screwed.

edited to add..... Sorry, I was not doubt it looks striking..... if money isn't an issue then why the hell not..... but I would fear the residuals which was the point I was getting at - YOU ordered it!!!

residuals aren't a worry it's the only white style packet that has come through audi uk. as a special favour from the ceo of audi uk he authorised the production of the only uk rhd drive one of these built. The shining star is that it is the only rs4 that can do 175mph without voiding any warranties.

here is the spec

and here are some pics of mine

Are you 100% sure the external CD changer can read MP3s? AFAIK the only OE Audi external CD changer that can read MP3s is the one fitted to the MMI on the A6/A8/Q7.

In the Mk2 TT you have a Symphony II+, but the RS4s mostly have the Symphony II - and the internal and external CD changers on the Symphony II CANNOT read MP3 discs, only normal audio CDs.
