Crafty1980
Hi there, I was wondering a few things earlier today: 1) Is it possible to get the TV button to work on my NavPlus by retrofitting the appriate part? If so what is it and where can I get it from? 2) Seeing as there's effectively a TV screen in my car, are there any adaptors on the market that allows you to broadcast other AV signals to the screen? (i.e. DVD player, Playstation, etc) 3) Is there any way of connecting my iPod to the unit? Aux on the back or anything? Or am I stuck with an FM transmitter!? Cheers, Ben
craigyb
To get the TV to work you would need a TV module, new antenna modules/diversity switcher and cabling. So lots of parts required. Using the newly fitted TV, you can input an DVD player through one of the aux inputs. The Ipod interface can connect on the CD changer port. If you have a CD you have two options, lose the CD changer and add a gateway 300 or keep the CD changer and use a gateway 400 and switch between CD and Ipod. nicknick
If it's RNS-C or D version ( D I assume given it's a DX) then you can get AV in by buying a dietz device for about £80. You could also then use that to feed from your IPOD ( either video or just audio).
