scooby_simon
painting something (on the boat) with Matalic paint(spay can). I need to rub down slightly after the first couple of applications. Ambient temp around here was about 14DegC (not bad for Jan) How long should I leave it. Items are in an unheated Garage, but probably will not drop below 10deg c tonight. I'm planning to rub down tomorrow after I get back from work, and depending on temp / humidity re-spay again tomorrow. Will 24hrs at 10deg C be enough to give somethingh that is sandabl (1200 / 1500 wet and dry)? ta Simon
Mook
Before you sand it down, use a hairdryer (not directly onto the paint!) to warm the air around it
