scillyisles
Nice looking RS2 - however he does need to put proper tyres on it Dunlop 8080 245/40ZR17 are not safe on a 7inch rim. He needs to fit 225/45ZR17 tyres.

These tyres were specifically made by Dunlop for the RS2 with specially strengthened sidewalls to take the weight and speed that the RS2 is capable of. In addition whilst they are branded as 245/40ZR17 tyres they actually measured 225 in width. Dunlop have not made SP8000 tyres for years now and unfortunately people often make the mistake of putting 245/40ZR17 tyres on the RS2. (I did on mine - in my case Dunlop SP9000) Unfortunately, putting normal 245/40ZR17 tyres on the 7" RS2 rims is very dangerous as normal 245/40ZR17 tyres are too wide and you will get sidewall failure (unfortunately this tends to occur on the inner sidewall) Speak to Dunlop tyres technical dept and they will tell you that a Dunlop SP8080 tyre is not safe on the RS2 7" rims. The solution to these tyre issues on the RS2 is to run 225/45ZR17 tyres which are safe on a 7" rim. Most RS2 owners run this size.

hamski
I can vouch for these as well - no expense spared on any of his many cars - I'm sorely tempted by the RS2...but he tells me he's also putting a couple of Fulvias up for sale as well:)
