drpellypo
I did the passat today with my snow foam and took some pics. This is about half an inch of foam, mixed with warm water. Nothing else! No shampoo mixed in. Car beforehand: Foaming: After dwelling for around 8 minutes: And rinsed: No agitation there. Just foam, dwell, rinse. Not even pressure washed as my lavor ran out of fuel as soon as I'd finished foaming, so just rinsed with a hose!
davyk31
Thats very impressive for sure especially when you did not even pressure hose it. Is leaving it on long enough the key or is it getting the right amount of foam in the bottle. I assume you mean a half inch foam in a half litre foam container? kite
Do you foam a dry car ?
drpellypo
Dave - 1L bottle. Half an inch in the bottom. Topped up with warm water from the tap. Kite - yes - foaming a dry car enables the foam to adhere to the dirt and gently remove it.

allen
will this wonder foam work with a cheap b&q washer? it has a 'pick up pipe', if so how much to us TSNers
drpellypo
Yes, although to get the best benefit of any foaming product a proper foam lance would be used. The price is already lower than my competitors afaik. I'm also swallowing the VAT on postage, so you're getting a cracking deal. http://www.wonderdetail.co.uk/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=

I didn't get this to put in my shop at first. I bought it as a consumer and was so impressed with it decided to put my name to it and sell it in the shop. wyliss
I did exactly the same before Christmas, foamed, pressure washed off and then rinsed through the Peerless water filter, came up a treat except for a few water spots but hey not bad results to bring your car back to decent standards even if it wasnt touched with a mitt. This process in my opinion is an excellent way of keeping your vehicle's appearance 'clean' looking in the winter months. Bring on the late bright nights !! Abs
Is it better to mix the snow foam with warm water? Or just use it neat in the bottle?
drpellypo
You will want to mix it. In a 1litre bottle, you only need about half an inch of product, then the rest topped up with water. It's extremely concentrated!

ahaydock
Turned up this morning so I'll give it a go next time I wash and dress the tyres. Is there enough foam for 2 washes or only for one?
drpellypo
To be honest fella, I can't remember! You only need about half an inch of product topped up with warm water. If you live in a hard water area, possibly a little more.
Tarmac_Terrorist
Which make lance / foam applicator do you use DrP.? I was about to buy the Karcher £15 as it probably best fits my budget but I just think I might regret it and end up buying something better a couple of months later.
