Nelson_R32
Well the A3 will be getting it's major clean next week in preparation for being sold. I've got every other product to clean it. But I notice that nearly everyone on here now seems to be using this 'foam' stuff. Can anyone tell me whats the best version of this to buy and how to apply it? It needs to be something I can pick up at the weekend from Halfords etc
ahaydock
You need a foam lance (like the AutoBrite one) and a Pressure Washer, then some Snow Foam. Most traders (such as Elite, Wonder Detail, Clean Your Car, Clean and Shiny etc) sell the foam and some sell the lance.
Rustynuts
Snow foam would be something to use as an aid to keeping your car clean, not as something to invest in to just give it a clean & sell it. It's more an aid to washing than a way of washing. The idea (my idea anyway) is to get the car well washed, cleaned, waxed, sealed etc. and then once a week a dose of snow foam and a pressure wash to keep it looking reasonable. You'll enjoy playing with it if you do invest in a lance and a gallon though...
steelwind101
If your selling the car dont worry about it. Its just a safer way of pre cleaning the vehical.
ahaydock
I agree if its just for this wash then don't bother. But it maybe something you want for your new car!
