Enjoy beerchug.gif

I had a cracking time in Les Arcs last week, but by the end of the week the snow on the lower slopes was melting fast.

Mornings - sheet ice until 1pm, when it turned to slush! By the time I was back at about 1300m to get the lift back down to the chalet I needed water skis not carvers UHOH7.GIF

Full marks to the piste bashers - you could see them working hard every night to scrape snow from around the areas to put onto the pistes for the next day.

All the French you will need to remember is "Un/deux/etc. vin chaud s'il vous plait" grin.gif

Just got back from Courmayeur in Italy. It was great until the back end of the week when we had the same kind of snow quality as you, had to go on the high runs to avoid the slush.

Were off again to Tignes in 3 weeks time, never been there before but heard good things about Val d'Isere and Tignes, looking forward to it.
