Drinks
I've had a few games, struggling to get past about level 25. What's the technique upgrade or new towers?
fizzbitt
Combo of both.. ive found that the purple towers are crap. I tend to stick to the green level 2 lasers where possible and the red level 1 lasers with upgrades to about 3/4. The blue ones are great to slow down the buggers in areas where you have a lot of towers which helps matters. I cant seem to get past level 31 and its getting annoying now! lol Might have to try antoher map.
Drinks
Completed slim pickings! Now use 1 red laser initially and add 1 green when required (upgrade these to level 10 in stages) add in some blues(no upgrades) and then save up for an advanced red rocket. Then loads of blue. CarMad
Great game, best so far is level 27 but I will be playing again. Very addictive.
durtydurty
Got to level 30 but cant get past that. They seem to step up the anti big time at 30 and my towers no matter how numerous dont seem to stop them.
CarMad
Got to level 31 but the yellow are to powerful and quick to kill with the towers I had.
Rustynuts
[ QUOTE ] Got to level 31 but the yellow are to powerful and quick to kill with the towers I had. [/ QUOTE ] Same with me. I give up and close it long before the buggers get to the end. I can see when I've had it.
Drinks
Nearly there! I reckon if I'd been brave enough to go for money bonus instead of 25% bonus I'd have saved enough pennies to get more blues. The blues bottom left were panic buys and would ahve been better served near the beginning.
Andrew
This is a great game. Does anyone recommend upgrading the towers. The purple second most expensive towers are bloody good.
fizzbitt
Finally some people who are enjoying this game.. Thought i was in the minority for a bit when no one posted on this thread! lol Drinks - Thats some setup.. might have to give it a try..
CarMad
Well I've to to 43 now but not with the Drinks setup though the use of the Blue towers is essential. The stage 3 red towers are very effective but they are expensive. By the time you get to level 43 they are the only thing that even touch them. I invested the bonus in power ups and range extension and a couple in interest. But my does it take a long time bit it is fun.
Andrew
I'm up to level 35 now and am sold on a couple of blues, a few reds and a green. I'm in the upgrading club although level 35 has defeated me three times now.
CarMad
Lots more blue and you could easily move on. I'd concentrate them earlier in the screen as well before the first split, it worked well for me. Upgrading some is good but lots of basic blue do a lot to slow them down. Also the more you keep things together the more the upgrade towers will give you.
Ritey
I'm guessing that is a similar version to this http://novelconcepts.co.uk/FlashElementTD/play.asp ?

Hudster
I'm also stuck on 43, the reason is that the best weapon seems to be the 3rd red towers, but they are 50% less effective on green vectoids. The best strategy I've come up with is to place a layer of blue towers 1 row back at the beginning, as they slow down the lower wave of vectoids and allows you to fight the two lines separately

m4ttm4son
The sandbox variation is pretty good too. You get £50,000 to spend on what you like and see how far you get on that alone. Lots of blues and rocket towers EDIT to add: Work is really getting in the way of me completing this today
Drinks
A little further.
m4ttm4son
A cheeky tip: instead of building in between rounds, decide what you want and build after you send the vectoids. Your interest is added when you click
