Mattchaps
After my last post on the Samsung colour laser printer, I bought one, tried it, it wouldn't print on the card I needed it to, and it was faulty anyway! So, I now need suggestions for a new printer as my Current Dell 720 is doing my head it. Too slow , bloody expensive cartridges, and quality isn't that great. All it needs to do it print well when required. I hardly print much at all but am currently preparing my wedding stationary so it'll need to be able to print on thin(ish) card, in a variety of sizes no larger than A4. The quality needs to be very good. I'm not really bothered about how fast it prints, so quality over speed is a definate. Cheap replacement cartridges would be great too, currently paying £20+ for a colour/black with Dell so this can't be hard to beat. Now over to your suggestions! Thanks, Matt
Rachel
I've had nothing but great results from my 2 Canon bubblejets - and there are heaps of 3rd party cartridges out there if the OEM ones are too expensive for you.

Mattchaps
Only thing with HP is aren't most of them front loading? Not sure the card I am printing on will go through if it's front loading.
nordberg
I thought most HP printers now had chips on the ink cartridges that made cheap refills tricky?
TriGGa
hi, long time since i posted now, but ive gone to a few exhibitions in recent months and noted that the kodak range of printers are fairly cheap, and ink is next to nothing (compared to others) black ink is 7quid, colour is 10quid and u can get a combined pack for £15.99 Currys do the Kodak 5100 for £49.99 so the same price as some HP and lexmark printers. It is not a laser printer but should be able to do your wedding invitations. Hope that helps.
