JonC
[ QUOTE ] Hi all.... I know they not to everybody's liking, But I do like them. [/ QUOTE ] As long as you're happy with them, Martin Have you fitted them in order to prevent stone chips?
RedRobin
....I think they look better on black than they probably do on most of the other colours. But do they keep the car cleaner? Any full-on bum, er....I mean rear, pics?

bodger00
Are they a standard VW part Martin? I was told they were not available for the GTI when I got my car. Did you fit them yourself?
RedRobin
Thanks, Martin, but I was hoping for pics something more like this!!.... Those mudflaps do look very good quality
martininwillerby
Yes.. Standard parts especially for the GTI. Yes.. Fitted myself today, took about 2 hours to do. Took my time and clean up around the area first. Full fitting instruction included, had to take each wheel off to fit.
TwoSheds
As long as you like them Martin but from the back IMO they spoil/detract from the design of the curved rear.

[/ QUOTE ] Agreed. They spoil the look of the rear end in particular IMO. Seems odd to spend $$$ on new alloys and then put those on! But each to their own! grahamv2
They don't keep the rear any cleaner. I fitted a set to mine about a year ago.

Tarmac_Terrorist
My dad had some fitted to his TSI Sport Golf. They actually look very good from the rear and make it look more squat / lower. Those pictures really don't do them justice - particularly from that very low angle. Whilst I agree with people's comments based upon those particular pics, i think there would be some less strong opinions if people saw them in the flesh.
