AJno1
Since purchasing my Eos, I've often wondered while cleaning it, whether I should be putting something on the glass roof to protect it. I mean, I seal and wax the paint work, but other than a wash, the glass roof gets nothing else. Can I put a decent wax on it, one say without any cleaners, or should I stop being stupid and just leave it??
steelwind101
Hello! Go ahead and wax it! The water will bead nicely and you dont need to hold back with one that doesnt have cleaners it will help clear up any little water spots. I always used to wax my side windows, and apply Clearkote Vanilla Moose first. Now i have the Carlack glass sealing kit and i use that all over and could not be happier! 3 months and im still getting beading and easy cleaning action! I do not use window cleaner and only 303 washer wiper fluid in my wipers. Heres the kit: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/engine-amp-exterior/carlack-glass-sealing-kit/prod_348.html Here are some Youtube vids: If you dont buy the kit, use a sealant, synthetic product as it will probaly last longer on your glass. ahaydock
I wax my side and rear windows and get goods results, so as Geoff says wax that roof and admire the beading when it rains
drpellypo
I actually routinely machine polish glass when doing details now. I've developed a shiny glass obsession. As said, you can indeed wax it.
