drpellypo
I've been using the Surf City Garage stuff I sell, and have been very impressed. It's a nice matt finish and lasts a while too. It's been on my van for quite some time now.
steelwind101
Hello Edge Hmm! Well i guess it depends on how you want it to look. OIl based products like the Megs stuff seem to last the longest regardless of what driving conditions you are in. Sonus Tire and Trim gives a fantastic look but its quite expensive. The ability go penetrate the rubber and get in deep is what gives the oily products and advantage and keep the tyres black looking weeks later even after the gloss has worn off. The water based products like SCG gear, Bold N Bright etc. all tend to give a much more matt look. As we approach spring and summer they have an advantage as harsh weather probably over. The water based products wont get washed away to easily and they do not attract dust and pollen. Just remeber to APC and scrub the tyres before applying the new product! wyliss
I have used 303 Aerospace, ok a bit pricey but looked nice. I believe an american make called Blackhawk is meant to excellent which is what I may try next. I am in the same situation as you re my Megs finally running out so I have plunged for some Surf City Garage stuff, only time will tell !

alexc
I've tried most products on the market and have found Mothers Reflections Advanced Tire Care (US Spelling) to be a great product, leaves a professional looking finish and lasts well. bpsmith
I totally agree that you have to prep them properly first. I bought a tyre brush from Alex, above, that is shaped to the curve of the wall and it works perfectly and makes stuff that never lasted in the past last much longer! APC does the trick along with the above for sure.
