imran999
Needing some new tyres, and getting confused.... For replacement tyres, do they need to be XL tyres? or can i go for Avon ZZ3 235/40 R18's? Works out over 100 quid cheaper than buying dunlop XL tyres. imran999
And the XL means Xtra Load, is that due to the weight of the car?
wyliss
I've gone for the original tyres that my car was made with, Michelin PS2, superb tyre. They are a bit pricey but worth it, they are XL too.
Kaskat
XL is required for the weight of the car
shark_90
You don't have to buy the Dunlops though, whichever tyre you're going for there should be an XL version - most low profile tyres are XL anyway as it is presumed you'll need XL.
