bodger00
Duragloss 901? Where can you buy it from online? Megs NXT Shampoo? Gold Class Shampoo? The choice is vast and to be honest is there really that much between them? Ive been using Autoglym shampoo and its ok but leaves water marks easily and appear to strip off the wax over time. Tarmac_Terrorist
I used the AG shampoo for a few years and never found it to strip wax. I often used it at double the recommended strength too. 'Something' does seem to plate to the paint surface leaving a fairly water repellent finish. I only stopped using it as I felt that it didn't provide enough lubrication I now use Megs Gold Class and find that a fairly good all rounder. steelwind101
HIHI! 90X from Duragloss is by far the best shampoo in the 1once per gallon group of shampoos, it will take on alot more then that too. I hear what you say about the £5 bottle of shampoo, i wouldent buy it, not just b/c of the postage but b/c if you have a 3g wash bucket then your only going to get about 5 washes out of it. Go for atleast 64oz IMO. http://www.ccs-inc.co.uk/sb-products.asp?productid=2330&category=86 choose gallon from the drop down menu tagged "SIZE". £32.51 delivered. The Aqua Wax is a great product too. Geoff

wyliss
I have the Duragloss shampoo and have strived to find better but haven't. I used some Chemical Guys Citrus Wash n Gloss tonight which was good but Duragloss does it for me. An excellent product, well worth the money. Tarmac_Terrorist
Sounds like I need to be trying some of this Duragloss. Can anyone tell me why it is so good and what my expectations should be compared to Gold Class for example? Does it tend to make water bead / sheet? wyliss
It has plenty of lube to it and also the cleaning power is excellent without harming your LSP. Once your car is dry the shine from it is superb, I have many people commenting on how well the car looks after I have used it. Unsure about the comparison between Duragloss and Gold Class but I am sure you will be very pleased with it. Water beading/sheeting is also excellent. You have a PM. steelwind101
Hello The DG90X has more lube and looks better then GC when your rinse, it should rinse pretty free. Im suprised you have issues with Autoglym Shampoo rinsing since it contains a pretty good glossing and rinse agent. Infact, if it was lubie then it would probably stand up very well to rest of the shampoos, esp. when you factor in price and avalibility. Meguiars Gold Class Cleaning: 7 Lube: 7 Rinse: 6 Shine: 6 Duragloss 901 Cleaning: 9 Lube: 9 Rinse: 8 Shine: 8 Geoff

Not the first person to say it either.
