Figure11
Fitting some alloys to the wife's 03 2.0L Mondao Zetec and would like some recommendations on budget tyres with low road noise. She doesn't drive enthusiastically but does do long motorway trips. Thanks in advance. Mike
RedRobin
The new Assymetrics from Goodyear are reputed to be fairly quiet but I wouldn't say they are 'budget' price.
Rachel
Pirelli P-6000s. A friend of mine has them on her Tornado Red Golf GTi - and they are excellent. Cost her about $220 each - fitted and balanced (so less than 1/2 what I pay for either of my babies...).

Nelson_R32
Fulda Carat Exceleros are a VERY good budget tyre (from the Goodyear/Dunlop group) and come from a brand well known for it's low tyre noise. Cheap too!!
RobK
I found this list the other day while looking for quiet tyres to replace the horrendous P3000s on MrsK's 206. It's in Dutch but you get the idea. If you scroll down it has a list sorted by tyre size. The numbers for each tyre are how many dB below the EU limit they are.
