Sidicks A few years ago you could buy a house for that sort of money...... in a short while you may still be able to buy a house for that the depreciation on a car that expensive would make a grown (yorkshire man) weep, although if you can afford the car in the first place, things are not too bad i suppose
Merlot
Strangely enough I'd prefer an Edition 30 Golf GTi. Really warming to fast, 'normal' cars in the new economic and social environment. I'm wondering if there will be a 4WD 250-270PS 2 litre turbo mk VI Golf? £25k for that and just as much fun as an RS6 in the real world. CarMad
You can already get that now in an S3 or hows about an S3 Sportback with S-Tronic. :D
Merlot
Indeed but there is something nice and prudent about saying you drive a Golf and, to me, the mk V GTI just seems so right with its wheels/seats/steering wheel etc. I also havn't had a Golf since my VR6 over a decade ago whereas I've had half a dozen Audis'. Logic, eh?
