a3malawimatt
Hi All, following on from my other thread, what would you buy for £10k. I am actually quite excited about it as i can go and look around at private cars and have a haggle. My monthly commitments will be greatly reduced as well! Anyway requirements are: i have 2 cocker spaniels so ideally needs to be a hatch/estate but would consider something else as long as i could put the dogs on the back seats in harnesses. cruiser647
Size criteria? Badge snobbery? I am sure you could get a v6 CDTi Signum - V6 diesel power, and you are used to a smooth diesel already. Save a bit more and get one of the last V6 Omega Elite estates? You'll have cash to spare and a great rwd car. Dogs can roam around in the back! Alfa 156 2.4 JTD Touring? steelwind101
Go get yourself a Lancer wagon, job done and pocket change. Infact they are selling off the old models you can probably get an 08 plate for that much with leathers etc.
Teacake
Subaru Legacy Spec B. Three litres, six cylinders, four driven wheels, 240 of Fuji Heavy Industries' finest nags under the bonnet. Under ten grand. Job done.
garcon magnifique
Only downside with the Subaru is fuel... I reckon Skoda Octavia vRS estate.
330dcoupe
Only downside with the Subaru is fuel... I reckon Skoda Octavia vRS estate. I would second that - but then you might get a GTI mentality and think it's the fastest thing on 4 wheels :D The Legacy is another great shout. What about a WRX Impreza estate?
