ghostrider
I have a fuse blown (i think) for my air-con and just wondering if anybody knows where the fuse box is and if so, what fuse do i need. Are they mini blade fuses or standard blade fuses i need to replace for the aircon? Help really appreciated here. Just one other question, these LED bulbs i keep finding on various car accessory shops, are they legal? LED Exterior Bulbs :: Autobulbs Direct Ltd - Xenon bulbs, car bulbs, wiper blades, headlight, Osram, Ring, Philips So long as they are NOT blue (ANY visible blue light is illegal) and they emit about the same amount of light (certainly not less) than the bulb they are replacing then AFAIK they are legal. ghostrider
So long as they are NOT blue (ANY visible blue light is illegal) and they emit about the same amount of light (certainly not less) than the bulb they are replacing then AFAIK they are legal. You say as long as they are not blue. I have ordered these - H7 (499) 55W Cool Blue Headlight Bulbs and it says they are E marked and road legal. Now i'm really confused. I don't want to fit them and end up with a fine or points on my license. Can anybody on here please clarify if these types of bulbs are road legal as it says? Update: Just searched google for more info. I found another shop selling this type of bulb (Consumabulbs) and they too say they are legal. Im starting to feel a bit better now. Just hoping someone can put my mind at rest. Im not going to fit them until im 100%. Edited August 20, 2008 by ghostrider Something else to add. PetrolDave
It's a bit of a grey area - if they make the lamps look blue in the opinion of a Police Officer that gives him/her the right to stop you and investigate. It would then be up to you to prove to him/her that your bulbs are legal.
