CarMad
So what will this weekend bring then, Hamilton looking strong in practice but anything can happen come quali or race day. Ferrari are still strong but have they lost their edge and will Massa be able to keep in on the track for more than 3 corners at a time this race I wonder. Either way its close at the top and as its F1 anything could happen.
DaddyDub
I (as always) have my fingers crossed for Lewis and think he has a great chance from P1, especially as Kimi is starting 6th, only concern is Massa, I think he maybe running long on fuel, just hope he has another poor race. Lewis for me.
CarMad
A good quali session, Hamilton took the top spot and Massa No. 2 Kimi is a little bit down the grid but then as ever anything can and probably will happen in the race. Who knows maybe it will rain again. I wonder if some of the people that have left Ferrari semi-recently are causing a few ripples across the organisation and the Italian'ness' of the team is coming back to the surface. Or a blip and they will spank everyone in the second part of the season.... :D Looking good for an interesting race tomorrow.
byron13
God I hope anyone but Lewis H wins. Getting very bored of every other word or sound bite on ITV F1 being LH related. Horribly over biased IMHO.

byron13
And why not? You think Italian TV isn't Ferrari biast? Because not everyone worships LH or in fact like him that much, would expect better from UK TV, no idea what Italian TV covers and to be honest has no relevance to me or ITV. Just seems like the LH show these days which bores me, I don't find him charismatic or charming, far from it, he comes across as petulant, big headed and fake to me. Just my wish and opinions. Please don't take it as an attack on the nation or some sort of treason.

Come on Lewis do it for Britain, who cares about Germany or some dodgy Italian team.

Ah but there in lies the diff, Schumacher won most of the time but he and ITV did not exactly get on so we did not have that much coverage of him and did not have endless MSC items and "heart to hearts" on the sofa, in the paddock, with his Dad (Uncle, cat, dog, next door neighbor) to endure with him. Also I am fairly confident that LH won't "be doing it for G Britain" he will be doing it for G LH and his swiss bank account............... Ritey
Feck the media and the business, he's putting it on Pole and winning races, top effort! What else as a sporting country do we have at the moment to be boasting about in the leagues against other countries?

That will be you supporting the Swiss driver in the German car then yes !!! Besides not sure I want to support a team who thinks it's OK to steal from their rivals, sorry not sure how anyone still has any respect for MC these days! byron13
It's funny whilst I think of it how everyone seems to think Max should have resigned over his "orgy" (which is not illegal and not part of F!) but not Ron for being the head of a multinational company caught and admitting to stealing from another F1 team (still illegal as far as I remember). You mean apart from today's GP programme, featuring a lengthy interview with Schumacher, when he ain't even driving in F1 any more... One of the few interviews with him to be fair don't you think, He is after all quite a succesfull driver with a fair bit to say on the subject eh!! Never heard of her, that one is def in your head mate That would explain a lot. Anyway, I'm going to try an experiment to see if you're right about Hamilton coverage. Every time they take an opportunity to mention Lewis Hamilton when he's not actually racing on-screen or as part of the normal flow of commentary, I'll think of Jacques flipping Villeneuve. If I've ground my teeth down to stumps by the end of the race, I'll concede you have a point about the coverage.

I think STEALING is much more severe than unproven "spying" and "cheating" don't you think ?? As many have said in here before "spying" is part of the game apparently that they all do !! (clandestine activities) As for "cheating" I presume you mean every time Ferrari design something new and they win that is "cheating" where as if MC develop something and it helps them it is ok?? (even if the info comes from another team!!) Sorry but nothing lower to me than a thief. Stealing very black and white. "Spying" and "cheating" quite a grey area! MC are very lucky to even be competing this year, funny how Mercedes were not quite so quick to judge on that issue eh and kept their partnership going with MC. Teacake
I think STEALING is much more severe than unproven "spying" and "cheating" don't you think ?? Sorry, I'll rephrase: Presumably you'll be extending the same courtesy to Renault and Toyota (STEALING), Honda, Toyota, Ferrari (cheating), then. Renault were found in possession of a very large quantity of McLaren confidential data, loaded onto their computer system. All we can say for certain about McLaren is that at least a couple of their team had seen a technical document and talked about it. Result for McLaren? Big fine and loss of points. Result for Renault? No punishment. As for "cheating" I presume you mean every time Ferrari design something new and they win that is "cheating" where as if MC develop something and it helps them it is ok?? (even if the info comes from another team!!) I think you've got that one bass-ackwards...
