help wrong fuel

my wife has fill the car up with petrol the thing is the car has a 19 tdi 130 sport engine in it she drove about 100 yards and stopped will this do any damage to the car cheers

Was there much diesel still in the car when she put the petrol in? Did she fill it to the brim? Did the car stop or did she realise and stop the car?

If she'd not driven the car, all you'd need to do is drain the tank.

If the car's been driven, you'll need to drain the tank, drain the entire fuel system and change all the filters.

If you're very unlucky, you'll need to change the injectors and seals.

If you're very, very unlucky, you'll need to do all of the above and change the engine, but that's very unlikely.

If she only drove 100 yards, it's probably a full drain, plus a full filter change.
