PetrolDave
Are both sides showing the same set temperature? The A4 (like most Audis) has a climate control system where the left and right can be separated or linked. Sounds like your may be separated. watteee
yes both sides are the same, both down at 14,driver side blows freezing cold, passenger side blows hot, even when i put both sides up to hot then back down its still the same,it happened before but one day it rectified itself but its went faulty again. PetrolDave
Check the climate control for fault codes with VAG-COM - sounds like one or more of the motors that move the air distribution flaps isn't working properly.
Mook
Exactly what Dave says I had this problem on a long term loaner.
watteee
how do you check this way,im not sure what VAG-COM is,how it works, what to do?
Mook
VAG COM is a piece of diagnostics software that uses a special plug to allow you to plug your laptop into your car's diagnostics - Ross-Tech: Home You might find someone on Tyresmoke who's close to you who could do it for you, or, alternatively, go to your closest Audi specialist and ask them to check for fault codes.
