Ska
Your not missing anything Mike. He might be missing 2 pots and half a litre or more though! Or he's added half a litre from some where; proly added the power steering reservior into the equation!
PsYcHe
Probably just dyslexic fingers with a 4.2 and didn't proofread his ad
Architex mA8tey
Maybe thats all he feels he'll get paid for with the amount prices have been dropping!!
PsYcHe
Sayin that.. He does say V6 and not V8.... Wonder if he transplanted an R32 engine into it
Tipex
If you noted the reg number, you can check online to see what size engine it has!

Wonder if he transplanted an R32 engine into it Which would be clever as the R32 is a VR6 - not a V6 and designed very much for transverse installation! harpersimon
If you noted the reg number, you can check online to see what size engine it has! Alternatively could call the number and ask for details.. ask if its a limited edition or a special with a 3.2 in it, and if he is mad wanting that sort of money :-) (I think this add was supposed to be on his TT!) Figure11
Couldn't resist it. I have rung the chap and had a long chat about 8s in general and it is indeed a typing error. Done by his wife while he was in hospital getting his ankles sorted. He is a serviceman like my self. He currently can't drive and wont be able to for a while so the car will either sit there or be sold. He knows 4K is optimistic but he says the car is in A1 condition and is open to realistic offers. I've told him to make his way over to Tyresmoke and join us. So if you are in the west country and want a 2.8 V6 A8 with Ming Blue paintwork and the perfect cream interior give him a ring.
