Torino101
I have just cancelled my Sky+ subscription due to issues I've been having with them (customer services being stunningly crap), so I still have their Sky+ Box but no Sky - just Freeview digital that is provided built in through my Panny Plamsa. Is there any way of still utilising the PVR function of the Sky+ box but for "normal" digital???
shark_90
The short answer is no. It's part of the subscription so no subscription, no recording facilities.
Tipex
Call Sky (if you can bring yourself to) and ask for a freeview card, they will charge you a small amount for it, this will allow you to watch all the free to air channels on a sky digibox. I'm not sure if it will enable the PVR side of things though? if you purchased the box then you own it, and for sky to disable the PVR features of it would be very naughty? Torino101
The SKY+ box came as part of a subscription - but there was an original £99 charge for the box.....
shark_90
I still don't think you've got a leg to stand on to be honest mate, but let us know if you get anywhere with it!
