jamieg
Does anyone know what the decent standard audi DV part number is, I've got an A3 1.8T Quattro and it has 0607041930 DV fitted but having some problems and want to know if this is one of the crappy original DV, I've surfed around the internet & tyresmoke but can't find any info. Cheers
Cupramax
Dont know where you got that part number from, the one you want is 06A145710N
jamieg
Cheers mate. This part number is the one from the DV currently fitted to my car, I'm trying to find out if this could be an old not so good one that could be the route of some issues on my car, the DV does not sound like it's failing "no flutter when lifting off the gas", therefore I'm just trying to see whether it's worth changing it. Cupramax
The older ones finished with a lower letter of the alphabet G or H etc etc
jamieg
Hmmm - got this number from the top of the DV, I will have another look tomorrow and give it a good clean / check over. Cheers though.
Cupramax
I had an "N" on my old Leon Cupra R and it ran Revo code or 3 years with no DV issues despite the world and his grandmother recommending I changed it for a Forge one. VAGPARTS stock those for about £17 if you want to get a new one....

jamieg
Had a really good clean and look for the letter after the p/n but there isn't one.
Hopsta
I recall the 'N' revisions being the much better versions and not prone to failing unlike it's earlier ones.
