steelwind101
Hello! As long as its real chrome then i think a chrome polish would be good. You could also try Klasses AIO if you have any. If you a chrome polish dont forget to put some wax on afterwards as it should stop it going milky again to quickly. Geoff
nordberg
I have no idea whether it's "real" chrome or not......
craigyb
All the milky chrome on my A8 is being replaced this week. Audi said it's due to the way it has been cleaned. I pointed out to them that they were the previous owners and cleaners and they said, ok, lets replace them all.
maersk
Chrome? on an A4 S line SE? Mine is all black. Must be a Mk 1 May be plastic coated - the milk comes from water/chemicals getting under the coating and corroding the metal. If its the latter - replacement. steelwind101
Oh Ok, as i suspect not a roll of chrome metal.... When your down to the plastic underneath you have to replace it, but for future a little wax protection will probably save it going so quick! Steven944
I've used Mother's Mag Polish and it works pretty well on the chrome/plastic 'chrome' - I think all Audis are afflicted by the 'milky chrome' syndrome to a greater or lesser extent though. It's always been a problem, whether cleaned properly or not.
