I've posted this in here as it's more likely to be seen as I know personally I only ever look in here and not the classifieds. I've recently got a new car so a few parts intended for my S8 are available as will be the S8 itself shortly.

8 pot, 365mm RS4 front brakes with almost new discs. These would need to be on a p/x basis with standard front brakes and would require meeting at the garage I use in Chesterfield to do the swap. - SOLD

Aluminium rings for the instrument cluster (similar to this but with rounded edges) - SOLD

Facelift front centre armrests in black complete with bolt and grommit as seen in PaulW's how to: audipages Center Armrest Upgrade - SOLD

Facelift double din walnut centre console trim and cage with all switches - SOLD

Facelift Climate control panel with heated seat switches - SOLD

Facelift ashtray in walnut with aluminium handle - SOLD

RNS-E Sat Nav head unit, Q revision with 2007 DVD and GPS antenna - SOLD

Standard aluminium gear surround, ideal for refurbing and changing the finish to brushed etc... SOLD

More stuff will be added as I find it/sort it out. Any queries please ask.

It wasn't an easy decision!

I wouldn't want to sell it with the current wheels as I really want to keep them, excluding those I'd be looking to get £4k. If anyone is genuiely interested then please let me know as my current plan is to sell any bits I can (the quad exhaust will be left on) and then stick it on ebay and see what I can get. It's currently at the garage having a service and the squeaky alternator belt replaced.

I know its waaaay nicer than mine but prices aren't strong right now..

I know (it allowed me to get my new car for a great price), that's why I think the best option is making money from the bits that I can. Leaving £2k of brakes and £2.5k of wheels on is silly. If I take those off I'll be happy with less for the car itself.

Unfortunately the upgraded rear brakes will have to stay on as the hubs were modified to fit them.

[not quite a rant] I can't believe you think like that. I'm driving an £80k car. Yes its 10 years old and yes they have lifted its face and brought in a newer version. But it kicks the arse of my dad's new £21k top of the range Modaeoeoao rep mobile. And; And, if I mod it and spend more on it I'm not devaluing a new car. If I trash it I'll get another.

I never wanted a new car. New cars are what the Jones' do. [/not quite a rant]

Hmmmm I feel all free and happy.........

Muhahahahaha

RNS-E sounds interesting - what would be required to get working in my A8 (has the RNS-D already in)?

If not to much, then will have a chat with the boss:eek:

I'm not familiar with the RNS-D but if it's the double DIN navigation plus jobbie it's very easy. Just needs an adaptor loom (which I'll include for anyone off here). There's also a couple of connections to the instrument cluster to get the radio info to display etc... I can provide links etc... on how to do it if required.
