cruiser647
Citroen C6 Pallas | First Drives | Car Reviews | Auto Express Rather distinctive interior - complete with picture of some bod on the door pockets! (Himmler without the cap, but with a makeover.......). Must be some-one famous and French - like Mr Citroen??? can't tell/wouldn't know him. However, the shocking bit is the price.........£50K! And after 2 months on the road, it'll be worth £15K. No doubt, to be delivered to a French President soon.
Mook
More like £5 after 2 months. I love the quirkyness of the bigger Citroens and want a DS one day, just to look at, but sure as sh*t wouldn't buy a current model one.
bullett
That is horrid! I can see old codgers buying into that 'classic' look though.
techieboy
Himmler without the cap, but with a makeover....... You're right though, it does look like him.
alera
Citroen brand just cant carry a car costing that much. They wont sell any over here anyway maybe the odd demo. Be great for £10,000 3 years down the line though !
Soapsuds
You can pick a normal C6 up now for around £15k with the diesel engine in.... very VERY nice car. But, yes, it will loose another £14,995 in the coming months.... shame. I like french quirky stuff..... their cheese is good too.
Mook
I like french quirky stuff..... Not as much as Ollie did in Brugges...

theduisbergkid
A part of me wants a Sh1troen XM Turbo, its dirty and wrong, but I just want one. Jon, the 2.7 diesel is the same as Jag's, very nice it is too.
alera
I actually quite like the c6, its a good looking car a bit different and there is some good tech in there. Very good value for money as a used buy for what you are getting I bet they are more like £10k now rather than 15 !

Jon, the 2.7 diesel is the same as Jag's, very nice it is too. I always wanted a BX GTi 16V, a mate had one and it was hysterically fast at the time! Comedy suspension, comedy interior, comedy looks, comedy safety, but by feck it shifted! He killed it in the end by crashing into a coke can or something, totally wrote it off! Be great for £10,000 3 years down the line though ! Umm, it's a one off model, and not planned for production. So there'll be none available for the asking price of £50000 then. The Sarkozy''s will breathe a sigh of relief then:) WTF is going on with the door bin? Can you imagine having (what I presume is) Andre Citroen's mug gawping at you every time you open or look at the door. Hardly French chic, is it

Mook
Has anyone ever been able to order a pint of Special Brew in a pub? Thought it was only available in off-licences next to train stations...

Soapsuds
If its not available, just go find your nearest Robinsons pub and order a pint of Old Tom... or actually, two halfs as they wont serve it in pints
Mook
But Robinsons beer is bloody horrible. Feck, they can't be bothered to update their 1964 logo, so it doesn't give me any confidence in their beers!
Soapsuds
Aye, but Old Tom is essentially a Barley Wine. Yum!! And i agree 100% about robbies - apart from at my local where for some peculiar reason, its absolutely stunning!! The people who brew the stuff over in Stockport wont even drink it - says it all really....
garcon magnifique
How did we get from a C6 to Robbies? Robinsons beer is lovely - it just doesn't travel too well. In fact, it's best avoided anywhere outside Stockport...

Melchior
Must be some-one famous and French - like Mr Citroen??? can't tell/wouldn't know him. "Different is everything" - Andre Citroen As for the Old Tom, I had a full night on it a couple of weeks ago. By the end of the evening I was feeling 'somewhat peculiar' :D
