Service / Brakes and Timing belt

Guys, please can you tell me what I should be paying for the following and any recommendations in the Northwest area . Preston, Wigan area.

1. Service - 72,000 A8 3.7QS

2. New spark plugs

3. Brake pads and discs all round. Keep with Audi oe unless I am told reasons to change

4. Timing belt (and do I really need to do the water pump)

Hi CMJ and welcome to the forum. I also have a 3.7QS (2000 and so it's the facelift which i assume you have also?!).

Just to respond to point 3 about brakes, these are the OEM parts costs i had for mine...(all excl. VAT)

£72.77 Front Discs (each)

£103.87 Front Pads

£49.31 Rear Discs (each)

£32.48 Rear Pads

If changed mine myself a few weeks back (having not ever done it before) and it seemed quite ok to do and very satisfying.

I'm sure someone else will come along to answer your other questions.
