Muppetboy
Does anyone know if tablets such as night/day nurse can trigger anxiety attacks?
Woppum
day nurse has caffeine in which in itself can cause anxiety, but i doubt enough to give you an attack. Night nurse should not as it mellows you. Truth is if you are on the edge of an attack, day could push you over the edge but night should help a bit. Any more information you can give us? Muppetboy
I've never suffered from anxiety attacks until Friday night... I took a couple of day nurse fairly late so couldn't take the night ones and I had the worst night of sleep! I then took two night nurse last night and with half an hour to an hour I felt the same way again... all very odd for me as I never suffer from stuff like this and to be honest I did think it was all a load of pony! I did sleep through though (the night ones just knock you out after a while!) and feel fine. Maybe I'll stay off them, perhaps there's something in them that doesn't agree with me! Scotty
Don't know about anxiety attacks but I stopped taking Night Nurse and it had effects on me. It mad my heart race and when I woke up from it I always felt like I had a chronic hangover. I tried it enough times to nail it down to the medicine and have never had the above symptons again since I stopped taking it.
Muppetboy
Making my heart race too, which I think is causing me anxiety in turn... so maybe not a proper anxiety attack then.
Booster
Yep, Mu-Cron decongestant tablets give me a racing heart as well. Not noticed it with Day Nurse tablets though.
Dave
It does tend to be the decongestant part of the medication that makes people feel odd: Pseudoephedrine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (look under adverse effects)
