KPS
hi, how much would this cost to install aftermarket? is this a very big job?
PsYcHe
Not sure just how big a job it is, but they can actually be a proper PITA as the batteries fail after a while (or the sensor itself fails) and you get error messages all the time. craigyb
It's a fairly big job, installation of four/five receivers in the car wheel wells and in the boot. The control ECU under the rear bench seat and of course the wiring loom to all of these places. Then add the 4/5 transmitters to the wheels (5 if you want to monitor your spare). Recode the cluster/control head and TPMS ECU and job done. I have never had a sender fail yet, retrofitted it to an A8 and an A6, about to do my Q7.
