There are also security issues with it,

I don't understand all the ins and outs, but i do agree with Jobs, if apps don't run smoothly and it uses as much battery power as he says it does, then apple are better off without it.

It's the implementation of Flash on OSX & Linux that's buggy. Of course it's possible to write software that crashes apps it's embedded in.

I've only ever really seen it crash a particular web site in a browser - not the whole machine.

I have a Mac and it sometimes crashes, the horror! Die-hard Apple bigots love to point the finger at external apps etc. there are plenty of problems with MAC OS. And don't get me started on external monitors or networking....:ffs:
