Waylander
Okay I am a bit confused now. Apple products will not support Flash because it is the biggest cause of Macs crashing? But I thought Macs didn't crash....
Dave
There are also security issues with it, I don't understand all the ins and outs, but i do agree with Jobs, if apps don't run smoothly and it uses as much battery power as he says it does, then apple are better off without it. Mac
It's the implementation of Flash on OSX & Linux that's buggy. Of course it's possible to write software that crashes apps it's embedded in. I've only ever really seen it crash a particular web site in a browser - not the whole machine. Mook
+1 Crashes Safari badly, but they're mad not supporting it - most web agencies make (pointless) web sites in Flash and they use, erm Macs...
Ritey
They are only not supporting it on there touch devices, Safari on a laptop or desktop will just to be more specific.
Simon690
Apple's latest swipe at Adobe Flash (and justification for their closed app model on touch devices) is here Thoughts on Flash I have a Mac and it sometimes crashes, the horror! Die-hard Apple bigots love to point the finger at external apps etc. there are plenty of problems with MAC OS. And don't get me started on external monitors or networking.... Mac
Aye Every OS has issues, anyone who claims otherwise is at best short-sighted.
