Alastairm Posted May 5, 2010 Report Share Posted May 5, 2010 I have an 02 S8 and am looking to have the following fitted but things seem to be few and far between for these particular cars! *Performance exhaust-any ones that are best? I need a good balance between sound and price-not too loud, just a subtle noise increase *Remap-who is best and is it a noticable difference? I had an RS6 before and they also remapped the gearbox-is this needed on the S8? *The later Sat nav (RNS-E?)-what price am i looking at and who does it? I would personally go for a Milltek, contact Ben at AVPerformance for more info on it, and if you do could you report back a price here as I may be interested to! I wouldn't bother with the remap, you'll get 10BHP which is a pretty small % increase on 360BHP so you probably wouldn't notice it, if you do decide to go for the remap try Shark Performance, they can also fit your RNS E. I think they want 5 hours labour so around £250, or if your a little handy then why not give it a try yourself? I did by following Ian's guide.
