theduisbergkid
So, major upgrades for Merc, make or break for Schuey's season. Will Alonso put in a perfect drive in front of his home crowd or be upstaged by Massa ? Will "Hamilton's family" be in the crowd ? Will the Red Bulls hold it together ? Will Hamilton put in another exciting drive or will Button preserve his rubber to win ? Will we all start squabbling about Ferrari v McLaren, or do we just accept that British is best ? Will Kubica's nose cause aerodynamic problems ? Will poor old monobrow get anywhere near the points ? Questions, questions, questions... Roll on Sunday
burble
I wonder if this will be the yawn fest that it normally is. I find that circuit isn't condusive to an exciting race but I'm hoping to be proved wrong.
Mook
Bloody hell, Duisberg, that's waaaaaaaaay too many questions for this time of day Supposed to rain this weekend, so that'll shake it up And where's the pics of this monobrow bloke?
theduisbergkid
Chandhok, although he has since had the council in to trim it back, looks almost normal now.

Barry Scott
Wow, Red Bull in a class of their own today. Almost a second quicker that the rest! Cracking lap from Webber to beat the German. Good effort from Lewis to be best of the rest and Schumacher finally improves!? Hope for some rain or something to spice things up tomorrow or I think we're be in for another follow the leader type race all the way down the grid and I can see the Red Bull's probably lapping the entire field too! Tipex
Spanish GP's always a procession, rain or shine! Not sure I'll even bother watching this one, might just go to work instead!
Cuprabob
I see Alonso got a £13,500 fine for nearly running into a Mercedes in the pit lane. I'll be interested to hear Byron13's unbiased take on it:roflmao:
CarMad
Am sure he would say that Rosberg was stupid to be in the pitlane as Alonso came out of the garage the cheek of it hey. As for the quali, Redbull really do have a very classy car, great to see that Adrian Newey hasn't lost his touch, hasn't he created a championship winning car for every team he has been in. Hopefully it will be a bit of a wet race to spice things up.
Magro101
Just when I thought Hamilton had learned to manage his tyres, that happens... Don't see why he was pushing towards the end - He had a clear 7 second gap in front of Alonso, and to try and pressure Webber from that far back was useless. That could have cost him to 2 laps he needed... As for Schoey, atleast he's got back up there, and managed to hold button off too!
Barry Scott
...Gutted on that result!!! Faultless drive from Webber and wait to see what the reason is on the blow-out for Lewis. He deserved that 2nd place! Least Mclaren's top of both tables still thou! Will Vettal's bad luck ever go away!?!?!?
m4ttm4son
Interesting that McLaren hadn't told Lewis to cool it on the last few laps. Surely they would have had some data telling them that left front was in danger, unless it's a complete fluke and he went over something?

We all have preferences so frankly makes us all a bit unbalanced in our opinions! Anyway did laugh out loud when Lewis lost his front tyre!! cruiser647
Schuey owned Button (again)........... for how many laps?!!
Mr Man
Schuey owned Button (again)........... for how many laps?!! No...No...Button did`t have a dash read out and God forbid he had to change gear by listening to the engine note....ie seat of the pants driving....there you go; that`s the latest in a very...and I do mean very long list of excuses put forward by each and every racing driver when they can`t pass the guy....or girl, in front. garcon magnifique
So Button proves he can't pass a middle aged German out for a Sunday drive in his Merc - but he's still got the "mighty" Hamilton well and truly owned. Nice (read ridiculously fortunate) 2nd place for Alonso...
theduisbergkid
Interesting that McLaren hadn't told Lewis to cool it on the last few laps. Surely they would have had some data telling them that left front was in danger, unless it's a complete fluke and he went over something? They thought that Webber's car might falter, like unlucky Vettel's did, that's why he was still pushing. Another cracking drive from Lewis up 'til then Pleased for Webber though, a good win. Button stuck behind Schuey ? Surely he should have done better ?
Teacake
Button stuck behind Schuey ? Surely he should have done better ? Not a chance at that circuit. Schumacher could have been riding a three-legged donkey and stayed in front.
cruiser647
Not a chance at that circuit. Schumacher could have been riding a three-legged donkey and stayed in front. He was on a three legged donkey* - according the Rosberg and his view of the Mercedes.... * - slight exaggeration of Rosberg's 'small step backwards' comment. CarMad
Well it turns out the Hamilton issue was wheel failure not tyre deflation, shame it happened it was a good drive when the Redbulls has such a commanding performance advantage. Will be interesting to see how things pan out in Monaco, I think Redbull will do really well it seems they ride the bumps very well and that's pretty important in Monaco. They also qualify well, which is of course vital in Monaco.
