thebrickcounter
Hi Had fitted yesterday the comfort module for opening the roof with 3 clicks of the remote, also the one touch button. KUFATEC GmbH - Cabrio Comfort Modul Audi A4 8H Cabrio 33848 I post as I was led to believe that this wasn't possible on a B7 2006 Audi A4 Cab. It is great to be able to open 50 yards away the roof in reediness to getting in. Also after locking you can walk away as the roof is closing! Also had Cruise control fitted at same time. Both works a treat. Just need a little more sun!! Edited May 18, 2010 by thebrickcounter
t_m_evans
does anyone know if this can be fitted to the B6 cab?
NewNiceMrMe
I had no idea the cars didn't come with remote opening as standard. I'd have thought they did when you consider their main rival brand has had remote opening cabs across the range for over 5 years now (not remote closing though). I am genuinely surprised. T25SYE
Hi 'thebrickcounter', How much did the comfort module and cruise-control retrofit both cost (inc. labour)? Also, where/who fitted these extras for you? I'm considering getting the comfort module fitted for the ultimate 'bling-factor' plus I need cruise control as I do a lot of motorway miles in my A4 cabriolet. Will be much appreciated for your help, Sye
thebrickcounter
Hi I went for one stop/start, also remote module and also cruise control fitted. Think cost £450 all in approx They are in Hemel Hempstead. see Home - Vw & Audi Sat Nav, Bluetooth , TV Tuners, Cruise Control Installations UK 01442 251 582 or 0797 107 8619. very quick once parts ordered etc. Its more than bling, it makes popping into a shop and locking with remote and walking off whilst roof closes. much easier, no need to wait etc.. hope you get sorted
maikysupra
HiHad fitted yesterday the comfort module for opening the roof with 3 clicks of the remote, also the one touch button. I only recently purchased my first AUDI Cabrio A4 B7 (not my first AUDI) and decided to get the KUFATEC Comfort Module which allows you to remotely open/close the roof with your original remote key. I was able to find the modele on eBay for almost half the price of what KUFATEC asks for it on their they website but the module didn;t come with the installation manual.. I contacted KUFATEC kindly asking whether they could supply me with the manual but they replied with a polite "NO"... After some extensive Google search, I was able to dig out the German version of the manual (not even sure how up to date it is) but since my German is as good as my Chinese and the Google Translate doesn't seem to do a really good job at translating that text either, I was hoping whether any of you guys would happen to have the English version of the manual still laying around somewhere? I would appreciate any help at this point as I'm literally stuck with a module which I'm not sure how to install at the moment... Just to clarify that I have the Pro version (indoor & outdoor) as they also seem to sell the outdoor module separately... Best, Peter
