Toltol
Well this is embarrassing! Only have 2 removal keys and thought I'd be able to remove double dim radio from car. Now I cant get the radio out and the keys are stuck! Any easy ways of getting the keys out without having to visit my local mechanic??? Its a new A3 btw. Thanks in advance+++
Paul
When i took my double din sat nav plus out to fit a bluetooth phone kit, i bought 2 sets of keys so i had 1 for each corner. You might find that easier.
Tipex
Indeed, the keys lock into place and you need to release them by pressing on the mechanism on the side of the unit, it is possible to get them out but it's by pure luck and a bit of force. If you've put them in one side, you might be able to get enough of that side of the unit out to get to the release mechanism, otherwise, I think you need two more keys. PetrolDave
Now I cant get the radio out and the keys are stuck! You'll need 4 keys - you can't get one side out enough to press on the catches to release the keys. Once you have 4 keys angle the keys outwards, that squeezes the locking catches more and usually lets you get the radio out.
