shao_khan
Was in Romans today in Banstead - got some lovely looking cars in there Romans International – One of the country’s leading suppliers of highly prestigious and specialist cars Shame the sales guy was an arogant tw@t, just because I pitched up in my Golf estate means I cannot afford anything they have clearly (i'd gone in to look at their cheapest car as the Mrs fancies another RRS) but came out hating car salesmen again!!! Hats off though - some fab stuff to dream about.
Andrew
One of my clients is just up the road so I pop in here occasionally as a special treat! I've not ventured inside though! They must have another lock up somewhere as the entire stock is not held there from what I can make out - i.e. they had a Carrera GT on their site and not a sniff of it in the showroom. Andy_Bangle
In the past I've sold a couple of my cars to Tom Hartley which is like the Romans of the North - it was always wonkfest to visit them Johnny you're correct, they import new or direct from the factory placing orders well in advance of the launch date. There customers (football players etc) have so much money and are prepared to pay a premium to drive the flashes motor, don't care about the source. _Tone_
Blimey some serious metal in that place - added all together don't these cars represent a serious amount of depreciation whilst sat in the showroom??

You should pop into Bramleys next time you are passing. When me and my mate did, it was quite clear we were not buyers, but he still gave us well over an hour of his time to talk us through all the cars - a real enthusiast!! DHA
You should pop into Bramleys In Surrey? Have walked through the lot on an evening but have not dared go for a daytime look!
330dcoupe
A friend of mine once walked into a Porsche garage in his vest after pulling up outside in his 20 year old Merc S class. He wanted to look at a used 996 Turbo - 2 years old at the time - and the salesman looked at him and said it was sold. His mistake, my friend has money and that's being modest. What he did next was kind of stupid - luckily never got into any bother, he went home and come back with a bag of cash. £70,000 !!!!! He never paid for the car with it - he just showed the salesman that he shouldn't have been so judgemental and ignorant. He bought the car a few days later and needless to say, that nob'ed never got the sale commission.
