shark_90
VAG-COM/VCDS won't help you. You'll need a special tool to do them.
pontyslapper
If its anything like the B5.5 you'll need a special windy tool thingummy! You can't just prise the calipers/pistons open with wrenches and grips they need to be wound open/closed!?!? I only know this as I'm about to get the pads done on our passat tonight and have been waiting for a mate in the trade to bring said tool home from work. Although the B6 has an electronic handbrake, you don't need any laptoppery to change the rear pads. You'll need a caliper wind-in tool - Laser Tools is your best option and you can get them from your local GSF Car Parts outlet. HTH
